Community Tasting Notes 10

December 28, 2023 - Enjoyed this more than the first bottle.
Savoury on the palate. Lots of spice and saline notes. Less herbal than before. Citrus and grapefruit notes. Opened up and become more expressive with time in the glass.
Picked up a touch of residual sugar on the finish, but less so than the last bottle. Seems quite common during this late 00s/early 2010s. Stylistically GGs seem drier today.

May 22, 2022 - Has aged beautifully in the last couple of years, but has lost a bit of its outstanding zip and energy

Beautiful pale golden yellow. Outstanding nose with grapefruit , white peach elderflower , boskop Apple and acacia and a whiff of petrol. On the palate , the fruit is nicely balanced by marked citric acid and a substantial saline streak. Complex , creamy, which gives a very upbeat and satisfying mouthfeel and a long aftertaste (50 seconds or more )

Drink in the next two years
