December 30, 2023 - Ruby with purple hue, german pink in thin layers. From the start an intense nose and palate with black cherries, plums, currants, earthy notes and cedar. Nuanced and with outstanding balance of fruits, acidity and tannins. On the young side with much energy and a decade or more ahead. 5/12/17/10. -2035+

November 5, 2023 - Took a day to wake up. Notes from day 2.

Purple colour, very dark. Barely signs of the eight past years. It presents itself delicately with plums and cherries, liquorice and tobacco. Very pleasant palate, dry and tannic though a bit smooth around the edges which neatly balances the sweeter fruit notes. The deep dark fruit prevails over more subtle notes like mould or composte and graphite. Good length on the finish. Warmth does bring forth the alcohol so make sure to serve on the chilled side.

May 9, 2023 - This is increasingly showing how great a value this is. Red fruit, well balanced with acidity and just enough power. Very attractive and showing well after a bit of air; enticing. There's a kind of sandy component, showing its right bank terroir.

February 18, 2023 - Feels like this wine is still shedding some baby fat, lots of air time helped draw out some nice deep dark fruits, tobacco, and mocha notes, should cruise for 5 - 8 more yrs.
