March 15, 2024 - Wow all this needed was age. It’s distinctive, and way better than it has any right to be at this price point.

January 18, 2024 - This continues to drink very well. It's expressive and lemon oily and floral on the nose, has a slight viscosity to the texture along with a tangy acidity. Satisfying wine.

August 3, 2022 - Pulled by accident as I planned to open in another year. last bottle. Starts with nice apple, pear, floral, a little oak aromas. Medium body with apple, pear, floral and a touch of oak on the palate. Good acidity. Nice finish. I think I would drink up in the year or so.

July 28, 2022 - Opened shortly after the '14 Bearwallow CH, which I had inadvertently grabbed when I meant to pull a bottle of the Anderson Valley. They are unsurprisingly pretty similar. Th lemon curd and floral aromatics are maybe a little less detailed and refined than the Bearwallow,. It in the same vein. The palate is a bit fuller seemingly and not quite as bright or focused. Very nice on it's own terms, and really not much of a step behind the Bearwallow bottling.

July 21, 2022 - Medium to deep golden color. Smells like sliced almonds, smoke, yellow apple, pineapple, tar, and a bit of herbs (basil jumping out). Medium body, acid, and finish, with flavors of lime, apple, pear, saline, and minerals. I see someone commented that they paid $22, but I paid $40 for mine—a nice wine though, even at my price.

June 7, 2022 - A beautifully mature chardonnay. Apple, pear, floral aromas. Medium body with apple, pear, floral and a touch of oak on the palate. Good acidity. Plan to drink my last bottle in the next 1-2 years, not sure it will improve and may start to fade.

May 30, 2022 - This was my last bottle of 24. They are now fully mature and I wouldn't push it any further. These have been a pleasure to drink for $22 each.

July 24, 2021 - The previous bottle of this wine had seemed lighter, spritely. This one was heavier, more full-bodied, with more of the chardonnay characteristics that offend people who don't like chardonnay. We still enjoyed it, still found it ready to drink, though it may be significant that the best mouthfuls were the last ones -- almond-scented and gingery.

June 27, 2021 - This bottle has fleshed out a bit vis a vis a bottle a few years ago....having put on a bit of weight, butterscotch flavors are beginning to appear, so for my palate, it's time to drink up
