July 30, 2023 - Still robust and flavorful…in its sweet spot
May 1, 2023 - Just singing in its sweet spot with a 1-2 hour decant. Tannins are fine and dusty (in a good way) and well integrated. There is a dark edge to the fruit and layers of flavor. Definite dark and milk chocolate in there. Nice nose and long finish. Wish I had more!

October 11, 2022 - This is my last bottle of this wine and it was a good bottle, but special? Well, not really. This bottle showed much like the last experience but it didn’t show the distracting acidity aspect, but the other components were nicely integrated which made for an enjoyable bottle. Dark profile, medium bodied with decent fruit and extraction (see previous note for more tasting detail). 92+, 93 Points.
April 3, 2022 - Dark and inky, nice bouquet and drinking very well right now. The 2013 Ark Cab is definitely ready to open and enjoy now and only wish that I had a few more!
March 26, 2022 - My last bottle as well! Still lots of life but drinking great now! Deep and inky in glass, refreshing berries and chocolate on nose. Silky tannins balanced against acidity. Mountain fruit intensity, chocolate and baking spices on palate. Served with meatloaf!

January 21, 2022 - Really improved over the past year. Such a great $70 bottle. It has really nice body, mouthfeel, deep fruit, dusty mineral notes with lots of flavor including chocolate. Lots of life left, but my last...so sad.
