December 5, 2023 - Phantastic! Matured perdectly! Cigar box, forrest floor etc. very balanced.
July 12, 2023 - Wonderfully matured claret. Great cedar-inky nose. Long finish. Went great with the prime rib!
January 25, 2023 - Next to 1994 and 2015 Palmer. The 86 stole the show. Had the same nuanced iron note on the nose, followed to the palate with a soft and easy drinking profile. A wonderful perfume, a nice level of complexity without being completely beguiling.
July 24, 2022 - Decanted immediately before severing, great colour, great condition. Nose of cedar, blackberry and wonderfully smooth.
July 2, 2022 - 浑浊的宝石红偏石榴红色，闻香有皮毛牲厩味，鲜甜红果，一股肉鲜，入口酸度高，单宁紧致，颗粒细腻，酒液咸，矿物感强烈，话梅的香气，咸橄榄般的口感，胭脂香料，还有石墨的气息，酒应该有很长的年份了，展现出充分陈年的状态，肉质已经不多，酒体偏瘦，结构感清晰，余味是漂亮的木质香气。体会的是绚烂过后慢慢归于平淡的平和与优雅。

February 3, 2022 - Fill about an inch below the bottle neck. Cork saturated about half way up with the top half crumbling. Stored in passive cellar since release. A testament to ageing potential under ideal conditions. The 1986 was still on an upward drinking curve. Delicious, complex, integrated and intensely fulfilling.
December 27, 2021 - Quite musty nose at first, but that note disappeared almost completely with air. The nose is mature with red fruit, mushrooms, cedar, and forest floor notes. Good acidity with fully integrated tannins and flavors of red fruit and dark cherries on the palate. Nice finish. Great, fully mature Bordeaux that tastes quite a bit older than some of the other 86s I’ve had (especially compared to Mouton from a few days ago).
