December 24, 2023 - Opened (but not decanted) for four hours until served. Regret serving at all, as this was clearly too young. Some expected Paulliac aromatics - red fruits, eucalyptus, cedar - but palate tannic and disjointed. Will hold other bottles from this vintage. Didn't score.

November 3, 2023 - Full but fresh, still young and at least 10 years more to keep

October 10, 2023 - I have rarely had this wine, but this one was the best I have had. Polished, with very good fruit. Fully ready to drink, although it will likely improve.

September 1, 2023 - Decanted for about two hours. Showing very well already. Nice fruit and surprisingly well integrated tannins. The best Clerc Milon I have had so far. Very enjoyable.

July 9, 2023 - Wish I got a few more of these. Similar to previous notes, this had nice power but felt somewhat open even at this stage. I increasingly like this producer but the price keeps going up too.

June 10, 2023 - Union Grands Crus Bordeaux (UGC) 2020 Tasting (Hangar 14, Bordeaux): Very appealing right now with tannins enveloping a lovely core of fruit.

March 22, 2023 - Tasted at Chateau Mouton Rothschild. Dark red. Clean. Ripe nose of black and blue fruit. Palate of darker blue and black fruit, good complexity and fine acidity and tannins. Well-integrated oak. Medium ++ intensity, acidity, structure. Drinking well now but will be better with age. Always had a soft spot for Clerc Milon. Trivia - the characters on the label are copied from a small about 10cm jeweled piece in the Chateau museum

November 5, 2022 - Decanter Fine Wine Encounter (The Landmark, London): Ripe with notes or Ribena, a little wild blackcurrant, bramble, plums. Juicy, savoury, talc textured persistent tannins, the fruit ripe on the palate but still retaining freshness, balanced. Still quite primary but shows promise for a long life. Rather lovely.
