March 27, 2019 - A nose of dark black, brooding fruits with hints of oak, cedar, pencil lead, tar and moist earth. Palate was very smooth with prune, pomegranate, black berries, Cacao. Smooth creamy as all get out. They said Merlot excelled in 2015 in Bordeaux. I believe it. Glad I bought more. Fun stuff to turn the most hardcore Napa freak into a Bordeaux aficionado.

March 25, 2019 - Tasted at Château Pichon Comtesse de Lalande. A good second wine in a good vintage. Softer and less concentrated than the grand vin. Somewhat simple.

February 24, 2019 - Smooth, well integrated tannins, balanced, medium aftertaste of red berries. Young yet ready to drink!

February 9, 2019 - Plum, spice, braised duck, dried earth and tobacco. Concentrated and very plush, with a medium finish and layers of fruit that unfolds nicely. The Merlot is more obvious than it is with the grand vin, with this being a little closed, but more open overall. A delicious second wine that is better than lesser vintage Lalandes. Drink 2021 - 2036.

    December 1, 2018 - 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, 3% Petit Verdot.

Rik og litt sødmefull med bjørnebær, tiltalende tobakkstone og litt krydder. Middels fyldig vin med tiltalende frukt. Bjørnebær, lett solbær og anis. Pent modne tanniner. God 2.vin. 91 poeng.
