September 6, 2019 - Brimming with perfume. Full of sweet fruit and oak. A food wine, miraculous with steak onglais with shallots as well as poulet with morille. Short but powerful blast of a finish with soft tannins and fruit forward counterpoint. Very appealing and drinkable but lacks backbone and subtlety. A dinner party delight.

August 17, 2019 - Wow, this is very enjoyable right now. This may age well for 10 years or more. Decant at least 1 hour, 2 if you can find the time. Black berries, cherries, on the nose & palate. This wine is plush, keeps getting better as the night went on. Coming together with sweetness & herbs while swirling in the glass. Very long finish. The complexity which could potentially develop here is REALLY intriguing. I have two more, may try to find some more.

May 26, 2019 - PnP. Graphite, blueberries, silky tannins and mouth watering acidity. A really good effort for a 2nd wine. Ready to drink though could probably last another decade or so.

March 27, 2019 - A nose of dark black, brooding fruits with hints of oak, cedar, pencil lead, tar and moist earth. Palate was very smooth with prune, pomegranate, black berries, Cacao. Smooth creamy as all get out. They said Merlot excelled in 2015 in Bordeaux. I believe it. Glad I bought more. Fun stuff to turn the most hardcore Napa freak into a Bordeaux aficionado.

March 25, 2019 - Tasted at Château Pichon Comtesse de Lalande. A good second wine in a good vintage. Softer and less concentrated than the grand vin. Somewhat simple.
