July 28, 2019 - Really surprised by the tasting notes and high ratings of this wine. I found it bland, one dimensional and devoid of anything of note. To make matters worse, at $80 (NZ) a pop, I was expecting something significantly more interesting.

March 12, 2018 - This is the best wine produced here. It is impossible not to notice the soft, sweet, silky, fresh, pure cherries and plums. There is energy and vibrancy in the wine that leaves you with an earthy, licorice and black cherry finish.

November 22, 2017 - Clearly the best wine ever produced here, the fruits are silky, soft, sweet and polished, the round supple textures feel great, and the plummy, licorice infused finish with its cocoa and charcoal nuances are a pleasure to taste.

November 13, 2017 - 2017 Grands Crus Classes of St. Emilion, nose of rich fruit, black berry, and spring flowers, same on the palate, good, soft tannins, suggest age for 2 years, rich fruit, tasty, long finish, nice wine-well done.

July 12, 2017 - Better after just a year in barrel there is a bit more weight, density and complexity, This should end up at the top, or just past my initial barrel scores.
