January 12, 2020 - PnP. Quite dense and meaty. Focused. Surprisingly smooth and very balanced, good for the future but closed down at the moment. Monolithic. Wait 3-5 years.

EDIT: Got better on day-2 and 3, so I've no doubt this will improve and be a great QPR.

December 3, 2019 - 1 hour coravin glass decant (didn’t have more time as I was enticed to open this last minute based on another reviewers note) which was nowhere near enough time. This puppy was on lockdown and would not budge one inch. You could get a sense of what is to come but it was wrapped around some serious tannins. Well made wine that is worth trying again in 2-3 years to see if there is a peak of what’s to come. Right now hard to tell much in this phase. Hold until 2023

October 2, 2019 - Nice, cool, round merlot with balanced acidity. After ninety minutes, still fairly tannic. Still has a few years to soften ahead of it. Smooth, full mid-palette. Fairly long finish. Clove, cinnamon, licorice, cola.

  • Yack Man Does not like this wine: 80 points

September 30, 2019 - Based on the Cellartracker point rating scale, I'd give this wine an 80-85 rating or a grade of a C. Clearly the majority of CT raters out there are more enthused about this wine, but the one is not for me. Very muted and never showed much of anything even after the second day. Not much on the palate or the nose going on. I guess I'm just a new world Napa Cabernet/ Reds kind of guy. This one was disappointing.
