April 3, 2024 - Birthday dinner wine at sabatini in Ginza Tokyo. Honestly although it was a bit difficult to compare with the first growths I drank earlier today that were a decade older this compares very closely. Beautiful wine with redder fruit and a really great mouth feel.

January 21, 2024 - Buono, molto buono. Seta in bocca con una buona dose di eleganza. Il problema che l’ trovato mono corde, veramente poco complesso. Non vale i soldi che costa.

    December 24, 2023 - Tasted blind.
Deep ruby with purple rim. Tears are on the lighter side for a St Estephe. Still very young with complex notes of vanilla, expensive tobacco, earth, and black plum right after opening. More ripe fruity notes after some air. Quite concentrated and complex on the palate as well, and balances well with the high acidity and minerality. The tannins are round and fine-grained.
Overall, this vintage seems to have been made more restrained on the fruit, especially for 2015 (have to admit that the use of oak was strong though). One drawback was that the finish was not as long as expected.

    May 17, 2023 - NOT blind

    Bright red

Very youthful and somewhat acidic in the finish. Too acidic for me personally.

    Needs time
