March 15, 2021 - I was disappointed. Don’t know if it was just me but the wine was closed with strong minerality. I allowed one hour to breathe, but maybe it needed more?

December 28, 2020 - I'm sorry but I didn't enjoy this wine . As a big fan of Pomerol , with 2015 being a quoted vintage, I was expecting so much more . Let's call it closed, but all of those deep rooted qualities that great tasters can detect, eluded me just now. It tasted cold , uninviting and really flat.

I am hoping it is a dumb phase that will resolve itself in time ; ugly duckling to beautiful mallard is my mantra.....

May 7, 2020 - Nice cherry and floral notes. Light-to-medium body. Enjoyable right after opening but best after an hour (in bottle, no decant).

May 18, 2019 - Surprisingly open for such a young wine. Not a powerhouse but a beautifully balanced, soft wine with a great mineral taste as backdrop to the fruit. Drank at a family dinner after the 2003 Clos de Papes, with the Enclos preferred by many.

May 21, 2018 - Sweet, fresh, ripe, elegant plums, licorice, cherry and cocoa are on the nose and palate. The wine is medium bodied, silky and very soft, finishing juicy, sweet plums. Give this 2-3 more years in the cellar. This is clearly the best vintage I've tasted from L'Enclos yet.
