December 11, 2019 - Brilliant effort. Plum , coffee, dark chocolate and a hint of spice. Velvety smooth mouthfeel. A must to try.

February 5, 2019 - La Mission Haut Brion with Jean-Philippe Delmas (Vaucluse Townhouse, New York): Served at the end of the night as a "surprise" ending. The switch from 1961 to 2015 was rather jolting but this young fruit bomb clearly has lots of potential. The fruit is incredibly dark and sweet. A big nose and firm tannins. This will undoubtedly age for decades and take on more nuance and complexity with time.

January 2, 2019 - This has everything you could want in a young La Miss with plenty of bulk and power, gorgeously ripe dark red berry fruit and succulent, dusty tannins. The finish shows hints of the classic notes of road tar, tobacco and exotic spices that will develop over time. Balanced, full and very fine and perfectly poised to become one of the greatest La Mission's in time. 95+

    December 1, 2018 - 58% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc.

Strong and truly masculine in the expression with dark blackberries, plums, clear chimney smoke and hefty crispy saltiness.

Very rich and power plug of a wine, but at the same time experienced very refined. Dark juicy plum, blackberries, ripe blueberries, coffee tones, graphite and wood. Strong tannin structure and high alcohol percentage (15%), but this only packs the wine well for a long run for the next 30-40 years. Lovely wine.
