  August 11, 2022 - Interesting bright purple hues with a dark core, this was initially very tight and only opened up slightly by the end of our 3 hour chit-chat evening.
  
  Red fruits and cherry on the nose after a glass decant of half hour, but still quite muted. Somehow the acidity and tannins felt somewhat flat, and one dimensional.
  
  Plums, tobacco and old leather came through at the end, with a short finish.
  
  An evening of two 2015 Bordeaux right banks, and the star..our Purple Angel. Great time at Butchers Table as always.

  September 4, 2021 - Deep ruby red color. Intense aromas of fresh red fruit on the nose. Layered red fruit flavors on the palate with smooth finish. Delightful Red Bordeaux blend of Saint Emillion Grand Cru.

  November 6, 2019 - GRANDS CRUS CLASSES OF SAINT EMILION 2019 TASTING OF 2016 VINTAGE, lovely nose of black berry, ash, and black cherry, same on the palate, medium/big body, tasty, almost very tasty, open, fruit forward, showing well today, better than the 2016, and a long finish.

  November 4, 2019 - Big color.
  Rich nose (richer than the '16). Big (bigger than the '16), rich, earthy, with lots of spice; slightly herbal.
  Med+ intensity, just a little shy of the '16. Labeled same ABV as '16, but shows more heat (or is actually higher ABV).
  14.5% ABV
  40 hl/hc (2.5 tons/acre)
  70% Merlot, 30% CF
