February 23, 2024 - subtle, mellow, balanced wine with some length and femininity...not linear or elegant though, but some hints of it....I was a little disappointed by the lack of structure and robust flavor profile...but still nice and nuanced....dark cherry, black currant, blueberry....

February 6, 2024 - this is a nice, beautiful wine but disappointing relative to the price point. relative to the price, it feels more medium-bodied, flat, and lacking intensity...definitely not masculine and unfortunately not elegant and feminine...I would just say subtle and understated and mellow...flavor profile gets better over time and well-balanced....dark and sour cherries, raspberries

December 25, 2023 - Fairly deep red. Quite dense on the nose, with plenty of dark fruit notes and a fairly firm cedar/vanilla oak character. A touch of plum and blackcurrant liqueur as well. On the entry this is quite sweet and full in the mouth, which gives way to a fairly long finish with quite plush tannins. Enjoyable now but I suspect still better in 3-5 years, with a cellaring potential of 10-15 years. Really enjoyable.

December 4, 2023 - Decanted 2 hours, first sip after opening v closed, then blackcurrant, plum and oak, rich palate with length and balance, integrated fruit spice and wood but no pencil shaving / cigar box etc. Very good, reasonable VFM.
