March 17, 2024 - Splash decanted and was pretty open from the beginning. Dark card of back cherry fruit with some mild cedar spice. Structure is rather mild structure at this point. Has some slightly high toned fruit and hints of overripeness but seems to keep things in balance. Drinking well now but will continue to age.
February 17, 2024 - An easy afternoon with close friends; Bordeaux 2015 (@ FD): The bouquet is still a bit reticent, but shows beautifully round and elegant red berries. On the palate dark berries, graphite, cedar, oak, soft and slightly sweet licorice, beautiful acidity and round tannin. Good length, silky soft and delicious. Young maturity stage now when given a few hours of air time. (92 - 93+)
January 6, 2024 - la robe est foncée et intense. Le nez montre une aromatique dense, puissante mais équilibrée en même temps, sur des notes de fruits noirs. La bouche est ample et opulente en texture, mais moins expressive que le nez. Vin avec avec une belle et fière assise mais qui gagnerait à patienter au quelques années pour dévoiler son potentiel et la fusion de ses différentes dimensions. Sa charpente encore charnue peut aussi s’apprécier maintenant sur une viande grillée ou des fromages à patte molle.

October 5, 2023 - This 2nd growth is better than many grand crus I’ve had over the decades. The Cab dominates, tannins present but softened. Agree with notes rating 92 & 93. Dark fruit, musty cellar, cedar. It is elegant as is the case with Margaux, so definitely Varietally correct. One of the best wines we’ve had this year. Kudos to 2015.

September 23, 2023 - Opened and the nose was powerful. Perfumed. Indeed from Margaux. First taste was very dry. It opened up. Lots of strawberry and raspberries. Earthy. A big tangy. Leather and tobacco. Elegant.
August 18, 2023 - Outstanding . Smooth and supple. Long finish.
July 26, 2023 - Cherry, blackcurrant and blackberry along with a touch of floral. Underpinned by some clean earthy notes and some vanilla from the oak.

A rather full nose, of voluptuous ripe blackberry and plum, and some menthol. Similar fleshy mouthfeel of ripe plum, cut grass, violets, black pepper, and a hint of savoury meats, whilst tannins providing a bite
