March 10, 2024 - Deep yellow in the glass. A sophisticated glass of wine, easy to underestimate. Hints of fruit and zest in the nose. Some sweetness of melon and ripe fruit balanced with the oak. It’s getting better and better with time. Some pepper and some herbal notes as the wine opened up. Every sip and glass was interesting and it takes some time for me to understand the complexity. This was very fun to drink!

December 27, 2023 - In the nose, the Sauvignon immediately stands out with that hint of cat's pee, followed by the aroma of ripe peach and orange zest, with a touch of lavender. On the palate, the wine is sweet, round, yet with a nicely hidden acidity. I didn't score it anymore, although the nose and palate were really quite nice but not balanced in relation to each other. However, it's a very pleasant wine.

November 12, 2022 - This is an intense and rich wine, starting with the aroma which is fruity citrus and classic sauv Blanc, almost buttery rich on the palate. Fun to drink but it would be too much for me after a glass.
Paired well with a rich butter poached lobster dish, and was the preferred pairing wine by all but me. I preferred the leaner Tronquoy Lalande the cut through some of the richness. But it was an interesting comparison and good for discussion1 person found this helpful Comments (3)
