Community Tasting Notes 2

  • Gros Pere Likes this wine:

May 12, 2016 - Nose: sage, sweet creosote, dark red fruit, dust. Taste: dark cherry, blackberry, savory herbs, slight tar, moderate acid, firm drying tannins. Paired well with lamb in stock/tomato broth. Monolithic, little development in the finish. Still tight--would enjoy trying it again in 2-3 years to see where it goes.

April 19, 2016 - Hdr Closing Tasting: Black cherries and black raspberries. Nice acidity. Firm tannins. Clean.
