February 9, 2020 - True to my word, the 15 months since I last tried this out the icing on the cake. A beautiful example of a Paso Syrah dominated wine. Not much better thing in life then a mature bottle of fine wine.

December 2, 2019 - Oh boy...beast of a wine here. 82% Syrah/18% Mourvedre. Thick and meaty with blackberry and boysenberry fruit. Beautiful, almost syrupy texture to it. Layered richness of cracked pepper, black licorice, smoked meat, and some mineral notes. Amazing long finish among the firm, supple tannins. This can easily go another few more years.

November 7, 2019 - Aired in the bottle for about an hour. Rich, flowery spice box aromas. Dense and full bodied with dark, dark cherry, smoked meat, licorice and cracked pepper on the short to medium finish. Drinking great.

October 24, 2019 - Nice Syrah based wine with black fruit and a touch of olives on the finish

    September 15, 2019 - WIML93

    Tasted non blind.

Dark garnet to purple color in the glass, clear looking throughout. Nose of aspirin, smoked meat, currants and plums. Flavors of currants, plums and black raspberries. Medium acidity, medium tannin, full bodied. Drink or hold.
