October 18, 2021 - A very good CdC-Cuvee with 80% Merlot and 20% Cab. Franc with a medium plus body and a palate of red fruits, herbs, wood and some mineral. A short to medium decant (1-2 hours) are recommended and the wine was better at day 2 or 3. For me this was a little surprise because the wine is a good budget wine with a good QPR. Think i will buy some more in the future for my cellar.

June 30, 2021 - 91 or 92. High alcohol at 15% but highly extracted New World-like fruit bomb. Drinks like a New World wine 2x or 3x the price. Merlot and Cab Franc. Nose of Forest floor. Full rich palate that is mouth filling with dark red fruits with a touch of cassis. Spicy berry finish. Considerable value for a wine in a quality vintage.

March 31, 2020 - Similar to my note from November 2019. Succulent and rich without being heavy. Dark fruit core and a bitter chocolate profile that makes for some chewy, sexy time on the palate. The QPR here is ridiculously bueno. 93-94+ points. Flavorful and fun even at this young stage. It’s more on the modern side and quasi-rich for some traditionalists, but it’s a super tasty specimen.

November 30, 2019 - Black fruit core, with plum, ripe black raspberry, bitter chocolate, and hints of leather. A compelling mouthfeel and notable depth for such a base Bordeaux. Could use 3+ years to balance-out and shed some slightly angular edges, but otherwise it's a great glass of wine that doesn't hurt the wallet by a long shot. Really fun flavors, if but somewhat simple (but again, for $25, it's a steal). 91-93+ points for now.
