April 23, 2019 - I'm not sure what happened to my bottle, it sure didn't taste like the reviews below or any of the critical ones. AFAIK this is 100% merlot, but it tastes like a bad Loire Cab Franc. Very green and stemmy, and high acidity. Definitely wasn't corked which I'm sensitive to, but I couldn't have more than a sip.

November 14, 2018 - Quite a nice entry level Pomerol that delivers dense plum, black cherry and fig notes with chocolate, clay and spice notes. Decent levels of glycerin and this really does evolve nicely throughout the evening. So young, but very tasty.

June 27, 2018 - Tasted at WL, 100% Merlot, second wine of Le Gay, Pomerol, earthy with fruit coming out as it opens up, not your typical Merlot, would try a bottle as the wine grew on me as I tasted it.

April 27, 2016 - From 100% Merlot, this wine, which is the second wine of Chateau Le Gay, is medium bodied, soft, polished, fresh and displays a gentle, plummy character. 87 - 89 Pts
