January 7, 2019 - Stunning. Perfectly crafted Cali chard. Impeccably balance and poise. Cellar as much as you can

November 21, 2018 - I don't drink much CA chardonnay but this was my kind of wine. Stony and citrussy on the nose with a really inviting smokiness lurking behind. Waxy on the palate with stone fruits and salted butter. Everything is there but everything is also very balanced. I picked up this bottle for under $40 and am really pleased with the QPR. Highly recommended! Edit: I liked this more at a slightly warmer temperature.

August 6, 2018 - fabulous chard - new world but lean
fruit forward but elegant with underlying salinity
    to be repeated ..

May 26, 2018 - At home in Sonoma.
Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aroams of honey coated nuts, salty minerality, stony minerality, yellow Chrysanthemum flowers. Developing.
On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13.1%), medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of salty butter, stony minerality, hazelnuts, citrus lemon curd, orange rind, golden apples. Long satisfying finish.
Outstanding quality. Almost a perfect example of how good an oaked Chardonnay can be. Rich and creamy yet keeping it all together with tight acidity without any sensation of flabbiness or fat.
Drink now and over next few years.

April 28, 2018 - Light golden color, Pure fruit on the nose with hints of honey suckle on the nose. medium weight with nice viscosity that is lightened by wonderful acid and lemon curd. This is a well-balanced wine and a great food beverage.
