December 14, 2019 - Reddish purple. A: gorgeous lightly smoky red plum and black raspberry fruit. F: salted plums and black/deep dark red fruit, concentrated yet lifted. Beautiful stuff. Wish I had more!

Now at 3-4 years in bottle, this is really drinking beautifully and integrated. No historical knowledge on how long this window lasts...

August 12, 2019 - Nice, light bodied red that manages to have a silky richness on the palate. Earthy balanced with fruit. In a really nice spot. #WishIhadmore

May 23, 2019 - Fantastic showing. Cohesive, structure is still a touch grippy. Very light on its feet. Great mouthfeel. Fresh fruit and citrus, herbs. Balanced. This man has a touch. Took an hour to reach this spot. Great spot. Love it. Don’t be afraid to open and let it breath. Still has legs if you wanna wait.

April 27, 2019 - Typical aromas, with a lean & lighter style and not the most complexity. I may prefer this grape with a little more ripeness. Curious to try the other vintages of Sandlands. A bright summer red.

April 15, 2019 - Bright red in color. 12.8% ABV. Savory nose of crushed red fruits, gravel, orange zest and iron. Light to medium body with plenty of acidity. Light, lean and earthy. Strawberry, blood orange, herbs and pepper on the palate. Moderate length on the finish. Interesting wine and I am not sure I would identify it as a Carignane in a blind tasting. Certainly made in a lighter style with a subdued fruit profile. Best over the next 1-2 years.
