October 12, 2011 - Wow - still holding its own, wish i had more. Cherry and tobacco. Tannins have settled down, very smooth and rich. Perfect with a grilled steak. Was consistant over three hours. Will write more about day two.

February 24, 2010 - Deep purple, murky. Initially its lively, gets muted as it opens. Starts out with cherry, with a bit of tartness or balanced acidity. No tannins, opens to include darker notes, tobacco. Enough acidity to hang in there with steak and chimichurri sauce with a bit of spiciness. Holding it's own hours latter. We'll see about day 2.
