March 8, 2019 - Well rounded, probably at the end of its peak. No need to decant much if at all.

February 19, 2017 - Tampa Spring Break (the second); 2/17/2017-2/19/2017 (Various spots (homes, Mis en Place, Capital Grille)): What a real treat to get to try this. We always love the Lokoya wines but have never had the Rutherford before. This was in an excellent spot (aka - CT window much too short - drinking well in 2017). Lots of black fruits well paired with that Rutherford dust. Very well integrated. Great wine.

July 4, 2014 - Very similar to the 95. Drank this one right after we finished the 95 and both were very close. Excellent mouth feel. Very smooth. Not sure why this says 2014 end. Plenty of time left. Excellent wine.

June 25, 2013 - wcchang nailed it... this wine is very big and fruit driven still at its age, but balanced nonetheless, and carrying plenty of non-fruit elements to make it a superb drink, loads of minerals, also in the first hour some herbal elements (in a good way), and a great dusty texture as should be the case for rutherford... this wine has lots to offer and will be striking to most in the crowd... well done

March 2, 2013 - Excellent wine. I was pleasantly surprised that it is drinking so well now. Nice, rich, balanced intense fresh fruity flavors amoung other tastes like gravels. Amazingly, the old wine elegance and the new wine attractiveness find a perfect balance in this 1996 Lokoya. Complex structure with very pleasant flavors. Good medium finish. Totally enjoyable.
