December 13, 2022 - Definitely shows its age in its golden color, and almond aromas, but still has some peachy fruit and a decent acidity. Easy to drink now, but would suggest waiting much longer.

June 5, 2021 - I tend to converge with Baron on this. If you look at it without bench-marking against more mineraly structured burgundies, this actually is amazing in dense fruity and honeyed notes. It accompanied well seafood as well as Asian food, really nice effort! A really nice tribute to American wine making. Chapeau. And no burgundy type premox.

June 18, 2018 - Expressive and pure in style, this offers honeydew, orchard and blossom fruit aromas floating above wisps of toast and vanilla. Full bodied, dense, and layered on the palate, with tiers of bright fruit and acidity that lend intensity and tension to the silky, almost honeyed texture. Spicy oak and lemon pith define the long, complex finish.

March 18, 2018 - Expressive nose, loaded with exotic fruit, peach, melon, vanilla, honey, pierre de feux, very "Bourgogne". Generous in the mouth, built on ripe mango, maracuja, pineapple, counterbalanced by honey, vanilla, caramel in the right proportion. Have this enjoyable wine with seafood. Better: on a sunny terrace, without anything else. No regrets.. well..expect your guests to ask for the next bottle soon.

March 18, 2018 - Well, good Chardonnay, very pleasant and seductive, fruit forward and nice minerality. Though a bit too much and a bit disbalanced with a strong attack and quite a short finish. It though remains an excellent wine.

March 15, 2018 - Beautiful golden in the glass. Heavily “oaked“ on the nose and palate with notes of ripe banana, mango, vanilla and yeast. Love the creaminess of this wine, but the acidity and alcohol don’t seem to pair with each other very good. It’s almost like they’re bouncing against each other all the time. Dry, medium finish with some melon and yellow apples coming in. Was expecting more from this tbh.

February 14, 2017 - A little bit of oak comes through but the brightness of the fruit still shines. Medium body with a long finish.

September 9, 2016 - Vindredi (California Chardonnay) (Bellevue, WA): Tasted blind. Warm and waxy nose. Rich and round, this is fuller bodied. Mouthwatering acid. Great QPR compared to the others in the flight!
