July 11, 2019 - Tasting 3 Cabernet Sauvignons from 1997 (Yan's China Bistro, Walnut Creek, Ca.): Nose of barnyard, lavender, black currants, black cherry, stems, herbal notes, and earth, big body, thick almost syrupy, tasty, mouth filling fruit, and a long finish, Bordeaux like.

April 10, 2015 - After 18 years, the tannins are resolved, but it's still very bright with tons of sweet fruit- as decanting fool wrote, I can't imagine what a fruit bomb this must have been. Still perfectly pleasant, though.
