  April 18, 2024 - Dark clear red; dense nose, dense fruit; sweet attack, medium bodied with mild spices, nice rich middle; not many nuances; plain nice drinking

  September 20, 2023 - Might be time to drink up? Think it has lost a bit since last tasted 1.5 years ago; dark coloured; dark fruit, a bit of licorice in the nose; somewhat flat attach and expression throughout, there is some dense fruit somewhere, but not really showing and ending with a burning somewhat alcoholic aftertaste; either a closed phase or phasing out; have given it higher ratings in the past

  May 8, 2022 - Medium red; nice fresh berries, some pepper; requires some air to open up (say half an hour) - then soft, rounded, broad body, lots of taste; really nice everyday wine

  March 5, 2022 - Open theme with Nangfa Kitchen: Dense blue fruit, made in a more heavily extracted style that led me to a new-world Syrah. This is a huge, spicy wine, it was rather heavy-handed and hence not in my wheelhouse, but can see why this would appeal to some.
