July 10, 2022 - In a ‘14 ‘16 ‘17 mini vertical, this one shone brightly for me. Touch of floral jasmine, fully open and broad, beautiful tannin and structure, a real pleasure.

December 12, 2021 - 2nd bottle of this wine in same eve not showing well. Very disappointing. Bon Batons has never been anything but delicious no matter the vintage. Very odd, peculiar showing.

March 20, 2021 - decent and a nice entry barthod. what it lacks in concentration it makes up for it in a balance - minerals and subtle dusty cherry.

March 13, 2021 - Fruit on ‘14 is so punchy. Already shows the bloody sensation of degradation, secondary character. Will never have the richness many look for, but, bright, fresh, savory, so good.

November 20, 2020 - While it's a little pricey for a regional Bourgogne - the quality is outstanding, so it more than makes up for the extra $$. An intense floral and cherry nose with hints of the classic Bourgogne "earth." On palate, the acid is ever present but fully integrated, mild tannins, lots of red fruits and a long finish, again unexpected for a regional wine. True to form: great producers in Bourgogne do make great wines at all levels.....

June 14, 2020 - A different rendition of basic Bourgogne than my previous experiences with this vintner. More dark fruited, with a deeper earthy tone - in contrast to the red fruited brighter versions.

    Rated +1 on a scale of -1 to +3.

April 16, 2020 - Dark red fruit: cherries, wild strawberries, salinity, tannins, light to middle density, good length for a regional Burgundy.
