April 18, 2023 - Monthly Tuesday group The Dead Sparrow Côte de Nuits (By PV): The bouquet has red berries and is a bit rustic. On the palate red berries, herbs, juicy acidity and slightly sticky and a bit edgy tannin. Overall a pleasant wine with a good bite.

November 8, 2020 - Still seems young. A hint of sauvage and earth, dark fruited yet a nice acidity. Very nice. 91 pts with upside

October 21, 2020 - PnP. Light to medium ruby. Bright red berries burst out of what is a very pretty nose. Sandy pebbles. Very slight animal/game. Spice.

The palate is almost medium in body. Red cherry. Something tart in the orange-citrus world. Earthy, mushroom, game finish. Bright acidity. Good length. Elegant with a streak of machismo.

July 26, 2019 - Épaulé sur 2 heures. Très bon vin. Droit, classique.

March 13, 2019 - This is taut and grippy but with air shows gorgeous cherry fruit in a lithe, elegant package. Mouth-watering and really hard to stop drinking and the finish shows a subtle complex minerality. A beautiful village Gevrey out of magnum tasted with Neal Rosenthal!
