October 21, 2023 - Like Grand Cru Chablis with slightly rounder stone fruit and less acidity. Profound mushroom and hazelnut aromas.

September 7, 2019 - A fresh nose with apple and pears and a chalkiness. On the palate its dense and broad yet with good balance and floral lift. Good acidity helps carry the broad frame. I like the chalk limestone notes as well. Rich yet graceful. Excellent. 92

August 25, 2019 - Good balance of pear fruit, very slightly honeyed, coiled power with great acidity to keep it fresh. Very unique expression different than a Cote de Beaune white. Drinking well now and over the next few years.

October 7, 2018 - Just a cool expression of chardonnay form the Cote de nuit. Rich more full bodied than Cote de bean. Excellent wine

July 11, 2018 - Delicious and somehow atypical wine. Creamy, long, dense, with a very nice balance, nice tension and good acidity. Aromas of citrus, pear, anise and honey. It full and round. If tasted blind not sure I would have guessed a chardonnay, but it was a suprising wine which we all very much enjoyed though. Quite sure this will improve over time.

June 21, 2018 - Mivvy Catchup: Blind. Grapefruit, lemon, line, slate and herbs. Strong acid lift, bright style but also medium depth fruit. Medium length and well balanced.

January 18, 2018 - Initially closed and not very forthcoming - but with a bright yellow lingering taste that highlights the super clean winemaking. With some time it blossomed into a garden scented with very fresh oregano and thyme and other wild but subtle herbs. I would not always describe these green herbaceous flavors as ones on the top of my list of preferences for Chardonnay, but here it was certainly appealing. The yellow nuances formed into compact but delicious meyer lemon flavors with just enough breath to keep it from feeling overly tight.

I'd revisit this in a couple years with great anticipation.

July 7, 2017 - Pale; terrific display of white stone fruit, fragrant, subtle, underpinned by low key oak; enticing entry to plate, bright acidity, a nervosity running right through; a distinguished, expansive & thrilling finish. Extended length. Leave a couple of years.
