April 5, 2019 - Very good once again. This wine is very similar to Cornelissen's Contadino, fresh and juicy. Contadino is the better wine for me, probably due to the fact that the nerello mascalese used in that wine is a better match for this type of treatment than the nero d'avola/frappato blend used here. Overall I like this, but in the future I'd be more inclined to buy the Cerasuolo than this, and more inclined to buy Arianna Occhipinti's wines than COS anyway, but I still enjoyed it.

January 6, 2019 - Love Giusto's wines, but this is a total fail. (The kind of thing the natural wine haters love to hold up as evidence that people who love these wines have lost their minds.) Bought at a wine event/auction for CA fire relief, where a number of rather shameful vinous donations were made by importers/stores who thought it was okay to get rid of their dreck by offloading it onto people trying to help fire victims.

March 19, 2018 - Very unusual, but I like it. Fizzy and cloudy, with ample acid. 12.5%

December 4, 2017 - Okay fruit on nose and at the beginning in the mouth. Followed by a strange furry taste.

September 16, 2017 - Read the reviews, heard a lot about it and aging in amphora, but was the worst experience I've had with wine. Opened 3 of 6 I bought thinking the first, then second, had to be anomalies. No, the third was horrible too, and I bought it a week later from a different store. Took the last three back. Knew there was a problem when I opened them and they were rust colored and carbonated. Tried each of them anyway, and tasted like apple vinegar soda, but flat at that. Horrible experience!

August 28, 2017 - Awful. I had to come here to read some reviews to make sure it was not corked as I initially thought. The natural 'anfora' ageing has left this wine acidic and outrigh weird tasting, reminds me of combucha tea. Have no clue how it cracked a top 10 WE list other than the quest of unusual wines. And unusual it is. But not my cup of tea. Couldn't finish the bottle.

July 30, 2017 - VA. The wine never left a stage of apple cider on the nose, vague fruit on the palate, mostly astringent/tart & VA. Very disappointed.
