July 29, 2012 - I have been a fan of Trevallon's red wines for many years; this is my first tasting of their white wine.
Outstanding bottle! golden coloured, great impression of fruit on the nose, honey, acacia, citrus, flowers, oriental spices; delicious! keeps developing lots of nuances over several hours. medium bodied on the palate, alcohol nicely packed in between the refreshing acidity and impressions of fruit. very long and lasting on the palate. will keep for long, I think. glad I have several more bottles of this vintage. amazing.
remember not to drink this wine too chilled, otherwise it becomes flat. (13-14 degrees celsius seems very fine, so serve this bottle "fresh , NOT cold") -

November 22, 2011 - Notes of apple and quince, smoky oak, oily texture with apricot, orange peel and nuttiness. Long finish. Slightly oxidative style, remarkably complex, long and satisfying wine.

November 16, 2011 - Pale straw with a dense, powerful nose, richly packed with honeyed stone fruits and a hint of candied orange. The palate is ripe and full, almost oily, filled with layers of stone fruits, flowers and indian spices. Fresh, balanced and very long. Superb.

August 25, 2011 - Golden coloured showing probably more age than expected. Nose is open with typical Rhone aromatics of honey, quince, apple (oxidative tones), boiled citrus peel and herbal nuances. Palate is medium to full bodied with medium acidity. Bittersweet palate where bitterness plays the role of acidity. Mouthfeel is silky smooth, alcohol is just 13% and finish is really long. Has complexity and finesse. On day three the wine was even better with sweeter and rounder aromas which reminded butterscotch, finish was again unending and surprisingly oxidative notes were even more elegant.
