December 25, 2022 - Consumed over two nights.
Night one: still primary fruits, ample soft tannins and balanced acidity. Menthol on the nose and palate.

Night two: opened up, more balanced with soft sandy tannins, menthol interlaced with red berries on the palate, hint of alcohol on the nose. Nicely balanced and still youthful.

Unfortunately my one and only bottle as I'd like to track this over 5-10 more years, the latter probably at full maturity.

December 21, 2022 - Supper at Ben and Estella's place (Ben and Estella's place, Parramatta): Ooh, it's quite bretty! Ripe red hued fruit beneath this and a touch of leather on the nose. In the mouth it has medium plus intensity acidity, slightly chalky textured tannins persist long with that ripe red hued fruit, smidge of alcohol alcohol warmth on the finish. The bretty note persists as well.

June 24, 2022 - Tasted at the Sydney Good Food and Wine Show. Very well balanced cabernet with great fruit married with soft tannins. Not so sure about the recently released 2019 version.

    August 13, 2018 - 13.4% ABV

Tried the 14 last week and really enjoyed it... Not the case here, I'm not sure if it needs time but the acid and balance hasn't fully settled.. Time? Not sure.. Buy the 14..

August 12, 2016 - Coonawarra Roadshow (Ivy, George Street, Sydney): Polished by slightly funky blackcurrant tending to cassis with a slight menthol noteā€¦more of the same on the palate with chalky but relatively light weight tannins. The menthol is more pronounced here though.
