  July 4, 2020 - needs a bit of air to open to its full potential. Strong fruit, muscular backbone, medium finish.

  March 19, 2020 - 3/18/20. Drank this without food. Color wise:This was a dark ruby over garnet showing some signals of age. Slightly dull in brightness in appearance. Aromatically this was sound and revealed dark, Brambly fruit florals that seem to be expressive of that vineyard with earth, iron filings and some roasted qualities no discernible new oak. It took a bit of time to unwind and become more aromatically expressive but very pleasant. The pallet was consistent; medium weight not expressing cooked, heaviness but instead with some juicy acidity lifting the mid palate. Fine grained tannins and a medium medium plus finish as far As length. Enjoyed this.

  March 12, 2020 - Nose of bacon fat and smoke. Palate of juicy fruit-blackberry and raspberry mix. Lingering finish. Begs to be paired with a NY strip steak, pot roast or lamb shanks. Or with a dark chocolate almond Kind bar!
