March 25, 2020 - 15 year old Cdr from a good producer. This wine is a treat! Very dark color, semi-opaque, a bit of rust around the edges. Wonderful nose of garrigue, deep sweet fruit, some kirsch liqueur, maybe a bit of pepper. Really nice attack, rich deep fruit, there is a bit if a bite on the back end. There is a long lingering finish. This is a really good wine, although the back end bite detracts some. Still it's a treat.

August 16, 2019 - Better than a recently drunk bottle. Some deep blueberry fruit trying to show though, but mostly this tastes a bit roasted and stewed on this showing.

July 5, 2019 - Browning quickly. Looks fully mature. On the downslope but some peppery fruit and a lot of tertiary character with some interest. Tannins in check. Needs drinking up. A wine of its era. Thankfully I no longer buy these sorts of wines.
