August 29, 2011 - I haven't had much luck with aging american pinot but this was realy interesting after 7 years.

October 29, 2010 - Okay bottle of wine most likely past it's prime, still a decent drinker, very smooth tannins and mellow fruit

June 18, 2010 - Eh...Not sure about this....awkward phase? I hope....2 hours in the decanter but not much there....no nose, short finish....hmmmmm.......i'll keep checking back with it and, if it improves, will modify....

February 22, 2010 - Enjoyed the 04 Racine with friends and a meal of prime rib. Had an 06 Bergstrom to compare with and an 05 Bernadotte. At 6 years the Racine has aged nicely and mellowed compared to the Bergstrom. All the Roots wine need decanting to open up but Racine has become more subtle, less fruit forward more elegant.

June 27, 2009 - Am a fan of this Wisconsin Roots winemaker and have enjoyed his other Roots pinots. Was not prepared for how amazing the Racine was. Opened and decanted and it just kept getting bigger. Wish I had more.
