March 19, 2024 - Über 2 Tage getrunken. Anfangs deutliche Eichenoten. Schöne Sauerkirsche, ein Hauch rohes Fleisch, mittlerer Körper und Abgang. Grafit. Wenig Komplexität, aber alles stimmig. Trinkt sich gut.
January 16, 2024 - Second bottle, slowly getting better I doubt that this will ever be much fun to drink.
September 29, 2023 - Much better with a few years of age on it, just a lovely claret with full fruit. Under $20, great value.

June 10, 2023 - P&P, medium depth of garnet red. Nose of dark cherry, mulberry and earth. Fruit driven in the mouth with enough acidity and tannin to provide support. A very easy to drink wine, rather than a complex one.
April 28, 2023 - Wow, this bottle really held my attention.
Popped and poured. Consumed with dinner over two evenings.
Persistent secondary notes of leather and tobacco on the nose. Well balanced fruit, acid and tannin, with a medium long finish.
Starting to show the complexity of a mature wine, and very enjoyable from start to finish. Excellent stuff.
April 25, 2023 - Sour cherry and motor oil to the nose at first... at first taste strong sour cherry and old leather... but suplicant tastes showed baking spice and orange citrus.. nice.. still got strong tannins...too bad this my last bottle of this...would be interesting five years from now
February 18, 2023 - It still has some acidity, but age has made it smoother. Is probably at its peak now.
December 14, 2022 - Needs a few more years, but at this stage rather lacking in character. Plenty of ripe red berries with some rich blackberry, very smooth, made in an international style which is fine for uncritical midweek drinking in cold weather. Does its job but no more.
November 29, 2022 - Ok..So I changed my plan on bottle number 2 and just pulled the cork with no decant. This is completely different than the 1st bottle. This one is much better. Bottle variation or air time? Still Light/medium body but more fullness and structure. Wine is super easy to drink and more cellaring isn’t going to improve this. For a $20 wine to drink right now it’s great. Quite smooth and enjoyable. I would buy this again. Is it complex? No. QPR is high though.
