November 14, 2021 - True blooded neuf, sings of the land. Vertical, elegant, manly with plenty of garrigue and Grenache, this really convinces of the domaines quality. Old fashioned - and wonderful.

September 26, 2021 - Absolutely terrific Chateauneuf. Opens up with a funky, barnyard nose. There’s dirt in the mix here. Cool, airy, dusty fruit on the palate with garrigue marks, leather, tobacco, mint. Impressive stuff, STGT all the way and on the day it absolutely destroys the 2005 Clos des Papes. This is ready to go though, no reason to wait any longer.

Complex and elegant aromatics. Garrigue, smoke, leather, dark fruits, spices, licorice.
On the palate the tannins are completely resolved, it shows a freshness which is impressive for the vintage. Similar aromatics, ink and mineral, long finish.
One of the best Boursan I had.
December 4, 2016 - Paired with a rustic daube along with another 2005. It was great with the food showing way more youthful than Greenblanket expected. Dark red fruit still rides atop garrigue and earth. Years to go, Greenblanket thinks.
August 29, 2016 - Full body, mature but still deep cherry red color. Elegantly aromatic, ripe black and red fruits, black pepper, leather notes, floral and spicy oak aroma. Black currants, cherry, black olives and peppery on the palate, dark chocolate on very long finish. Rich but still juicy, concentrated and powerful, bold structured, complex and well balanced, gentle acidity, completely integrated tannins. Food friendly, best match is hard cheeses and salads with cheeses as well as meat dishes. Serve 20º - 24º. Open half hour in advance. Completely matured and very enjoyable, drink now and next five/seven years.
October 3, 2015 - Je me suis collé le nez sur le goulot de la bouteille, pour ne rien manquer des jolis arômes de kirsch et de garrigue qui s'en échappaient .... Étrangement, le nez devient ensuite muet dans le verre, sur les fruits secs. Je n'ai jamais compris ce phénomène.
La bouche montre la structure du millésime. Ce vin est encore un adolescent, vigoureux, avec des tanins qui commencent à se fondre tranquillement. Comme une dégustation verticale l'avait si bien démontré, le vin de ce domaine peut facilement vieillir une vingtaine d'années sans problème. Il affiche un style traditionnel, assez viril, une certaine austérité. C'est bien structuré, mais je trouve qu'il manque de fruit, comme beaucoup de 2005 dans la région. 87 pts
May 21, 2015 - Lovely, elegant CdP. Texture is like velvet, layers of flavor, good level of sweetness that's just right, lovely finish, tannins are fully integrated. One bottle left!

September 29, 2014 - Dernière bouteille de notre voyage (C9P) à moi et Christine en 2007.
La bouteille a été carafé pendant 45 minutes.Aucun dépot.
Premiez nez dans la carafe: Le cuir et l'alcool.
La robe est à peine teintée.
Au nez: Encore de l'acool,cuir,champignons.
En bouche: Le gout de l'alcool est moins perceptible mais c'est tough un C9P.Ce n'est pas un vin facile d'accès quand même.Il aurait pû être gardé encore quelques années.Des notes de tabac,cuir,champignons,fruits rouges...
C'est quand même un strong buy dans les bonnes années.
Il a souffert de la comparaison avec le C.V.N.E
