January 12, 2020 - Pale to medium ruby, mild bouquet of must, black plum and dried herbs, big and round on the attack with loads of black fruit, spice, heat and peppery tannins, finish is medicinal in profile with ripe cherry, more heat, subtle dried herbs and candied apple

Note: Much better the second day, more like a 92-93

December 31, 2019 - New Year's Eve at cousin Mathew's. PnP. Medium red in color. Kirsch and a touch of hoi sin on the nose. Blackberries, cassis with a hint of anise on the palate. Pepper in the background along with the typical CdP garrigue. Vibrant full bodied with no discernible tannin. went very nicely with our prime rib roast. Delicious now, but will last another decade.

December 28, 2019 - Still opening up after 6 hours of decanting. Starting to show a lot of anise on the nose at this point with minerals and wild spice. Rich red berry fruit, light bodied, very acidic, velvety tannins still. On the finish the anise and minerals come out on the palate. Delightful, but needs a lot of air.
