    Arghh

September 21, 2019 - Liked it, didn't LOVE it. Expected more fruit density and less acidity; at a blind tasting, I'd have guessed it more likely to be Italian than French as it more strongly resembled a Produttori we opened last week than the 06 Janasse CdP we had the night before. Pale aged color, raspberry fruit, yada yada.

September 2, 2019 - I had been feeling the "need" for some CdP to fill some holes in the cellar and Acker provided the solution some weeks back. In honor of working people, naturally including myself, I opened one of the acquisitions on Labor Day. Dark ruby in color, a brooding dense aroma, almost gamey and smoky. On the palate the power was not unexpected, dense and layered, finishing with a fine note of ripe blackberry. It's spendy for sure but such excesses can be justified occasionally. What surprised me a little was the drop-off on day two.

August 12, 2019 - just read drwine2001 for an outstanding review. PNP and drunk chilled given summer temps and it was delightful. Fruit still vibrant but all in balance, wonderful garrigue and tannins resolved....really very nice

June 29, 2019 - Clear light ruby. Vibrant raspberry aromas. Medium weight, just completely elegant and supple. Lovely sweet red fruit balanced by licorice drop, fine acidity, and some remaining tannins. A complete charmer, and for me, an ideal version of Grenache-based Chateauneuf with great fruit at age 14 but no soupiness or overripeness.
