March 10, 2020 - Welcomed surprise for being unfiltered. So smooth with rich red colours along with oak, cherry and plum flavours. Too bad we only had one bottle.

June 13, 2009 - Opened this up while sorting out the cabin celllar. Surprised how good it is given the weak 2000 vintage. Funky tar and bloody meat on the nose will turn off some. On the palate, medium bodied but quite full of fruit. A green note that slides off to a pine needle flavor that I really enjoy. The whole package doesn't past long though. Air (after 15 minutes or so) is not this wine's friend.

July 31, 2004 - Picnic (roast beef and salami sandwiches) at Mondavi Winery before Dave Brubeck concert. Good wine on a cool evening. Nice fruit and aroma with firm finish. Grapes come from Oakville and Stags Leap applellations.
