May 26, 2021 - Frizzante upon initial pour, but the fizz goes away quickly. Color is unusual, and cloudy. Lots of strawberry on the attack. Good acidity and light/medium weight. Paired well with a home made pizza. K just thought it was OK and wasn't too excited. I find it interesting for what it is, but not sure I would procure it again. Value at $20 (from Garagiste) is average at best.

February 5, 2021 - On opening was very fizzy and initial taste was of oxidized grape juice. Poured it away.

November 22, 2020 - In a seemingly perfect spot right now. Red fruit, floral notes and aromatics, with a fairly long piney berry finish. Lots of acidity and fine tannins make this a very food friendly wine.

November 6, 2020 - More polished than the V.V. Poulsard. The edgy/buzziness calmed down into a more serious wine with a few hours of air. Really enjoyed it.

April 29, 2020 - Compared to 18 months ago, this has resolved very nicely and is in a great zone now. Ready after just 30 minutes or so open. The acidity is extra juicy and plush with light tannins that make this white-meat friendly, if you so choose. But this has such a nice balance, it's also fine as a stand alone quaff. Great QPR and I would re-buy.

April 27, 2020 - Tasted blind. Red berries/fruit, tart plum, white pepper and red cherries on the nose. Medium acidity with slightly funky notes and more red berries on the palate. Lingering, nice finish. I liked this quite a bit.

January 29, 2020 - Floral aromas, and an array of flavors on the palate including bergamot, fully open rose, fermenting red cherry, raspberry, a bit of earth/humus. Unfiltered, 40% Trousseau, 40% Poulsard, 20% Pinot noir. Always an interesting and nice change.

July 9, 2019 - Angelica wine club - Raclette night (Strand Cellars, Croydon): sour, red berry and cherry, slightly stalky and jubey - whole bunch no doubt. Juicy, more cherry, savoury, lightly structured. Yum.

March 23, 2019 - Light style, but full of flavor. High acid, very refreshing; Pinot fruit with a savory touch. Expressive nose; finishes sweet. One of Garagiste's better offerings at $20.
