March 1, 2019 - Creamy, nice spice on a soft texture, maybe getting a little old
December 11, 2017 - A nice alternative to citrusy sUv. Blanca and oaky buttery chard.
November 8, 2017 - PnP, 55F. Full nose with flowers and honey. Good acid, medium weight but clean and light. Pear, apple, something a bit bitter which lingers on the finish but very nice. Chenin blanc can be so different from region/region and wine maker to wine maker. Good aperitif but better with food.
October 8, 2017 - Sharp steely balance to cream shrimp
June 18, 2017 - Fully transparent, dull yellow.
Wildflowers on the nose. Lemon and honeysuckle.
A fair amount of acid on the palate, but several subtle flavors: lemon, pear, grapefruit. Nothing too dominant or distracting.
Finish is a bit sharp with a not-too-pleasant aftertaste. Other than this, it's a nice, easy drinker.
June 17, 2017 - Sat, 06/17/17, $2 Tasting + 2 Shared Bottles (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): N: Peaches, apricots, with distinct init notes of funk, this giving way to mushrooms
P: MF, poss Med, body; Rndish entry with NICE frt beautifully balanced by an acidity which transitions into a LONG, very slightly honied finish. VERY nicely done for drinking over the next yr or so. 87 pts ea WS & WE (Buzzeo, 5/1/17) @ $18. [As of late Mar '20, wine-searcher shows 3 sources from $15-$23].

P: MF (poss Med) body; Almost swtish frt on front quickly met by counterbalancing acidity; Long, tangy, VERY slightly spicy finish. Nicely balanced
January 7, 2017 - Sat, 1/7/17, $2 Tasting (Vintage Wines Ltd., San Diego, CA): N: Muted; some grn apples, poss peaches? With air/warmth an earthy component goes to the top; potentially complex?
P: LM body; Round, almost swtish frt (threshold R.S.?) QUITE counterbalanced by acidity, that being the dominant factor on the long finish. Should go VERY well with varying poultry & seafood items.
August 22, 2016 - Pale yellow color or hay, med body
Aromas of pear, white peaches, lilacs, lemongrass.
Bright, crisp, mouthwatering. Nice acidity, a little warm in the finish. Alcohol 13.5%
