December 16, 2022 - Beautiful mature nose, sour cherry
    Clear, dull light pinkish purple
Full bodied, open sour cherry with long presant gripping acid. Great flavor drinking well, just on the fully mature side.

February 13, 2022 - Double decanted 2.5h ago. Shy aromas of red.cherries w a cool, alpine mild mild mint and some herbs. Palate w just ripe red cherries, a cool, alpine mint and herbs, a bit of flowers, and some earth. Medium body w excellent acids and mild+ tannins. Nice juicy finish of red cherries, some tannins and herbs. Lovely and a nice QPR. If one wants to age it, I think this can go for another 5 yrs at least. 90+

November 22, 2021 - Similar to the bottle a few months ago. It's time to drink. Still a very good nebbiolo with a fruity, bright nose, and the palate is also bright and young, with a pleasing hit of tannins at the end.

August 18, 2021 - This bottle was not as lovely as the one 15 months ago. May be that it is getting a little long in the tooth. Still a very nice nebbiolo, but has lost some of its strengths and presents as a simpler wine.

October 23, 2020 - Good. Having had a couple elite AR.PE.PE recently ... this was anemic. Nice enough.

July 12, 2020 - Ordentlig rund og fin, men med en syrlig snært, nesten bringebæraktig. Lang, krydderaktig ettersmak.

April 21, 2020 - An outstanding version of this valtellina. Nose is big floral and leather and even a bit of citrus. Palate is bright, chewy, medium dark fruit with berries and good acidity, along with some light tannins at the end.

December 19, 2019 - Meh. Not worth the discounted price I paid ($27). It would definitely give me pause before diving into more expensive bottlings. Maybe vintage is a larger factor? I see little to no upside in continuing to cellar.

December 1, 2019 - Needed 30 for the aromatics to appear, then nice blood orange, rose-inflected leather. On the palate, fantastic acidity, but slightly thinner than expected, very hi-toned red fruit with pomegranate and sour wild strawberry. Soft tannin on the finish, which shows slightly darker and more savory. Good, but this needed a better food pairing than our pasta with spinach, cannelini and tomatoes.
