Avec un peu d’âge, les blancs de Renaud s’affinent considérablement, ce que confirme, cette très belle bouteille de 2012 (les Domaine en 15-16-17 sont encore un peu trop riches…)
J’apprécie son équilibre dans la rondeur, sa capacité à accompagner des plats pour faire ressortir sa mineralité salivante.
L’aromatique, comme à l’accoutumée, et complexe et original. Fruits jaunes, épices, fleurs séchées, agrumes confits…
Très joli!
November 28, 2022 - Un nez très expressif dominé par le miel, noisette, fruits du verger, acidité faible, petite sensation de chaleur en finale mais relativement subtil. Longues larmes le long du verre, une bonne amertume en fin de bouche, on est définitivement en Rhone mais pas évident de nommer l'appellation. 100% Grenache Blanc, je l'ai préféré plus frais que tempéré. Le vin est resté stable toute la soirée. C'est super bien, un vin blanc d'une grande qualité, faut juste aimer le style et malgré que je ne suis pas fan des blancs du Rhone, celui si ma bien plu !
July 11, 2022 - A rich wine, showing plenty of bees wax and honey. Creamy, generous, full bodied. Ib loved it.

February 13, 2022 - Golden colour. Much honey going on here, it's getting richer, more creamy, fat even. Time to drink, maybe, but you never know.
September 5, 2021 - Golden color. Rich, full wine with notes of bees wax, honeyed fruit, nuts and spices. Complex, needs food. Lacks the nerve and minerality of older vintages. Not sure how this will develop.
August 17, 2021 - Intense and complexe noise, but a bit clumsy in taste.
October 21, 2020 - Golden colour. Bees wax, minerals, honey; creamy texture, seems mature, but you never know with these wines.
June 2, 2020 - In a good spot now, showing tropical fruit notes along with spices, notably pepper and curry. While rich, this is much more contained compared to both the 2015 and 2016, just the way I like it.
April 30, 2020 - Wine in the time of Corona Virus - Quarantining in NYC & NH; 3/7/2020-9/1/2020 (NYC/NH): Last bottle of this which makes me sad - had meant to hold onto a few, but quarantine is not good for at home supply! Opened this for our Thursday night zoom call and it was a delicious way to start the evening. Consistent with prior experience - this is drinking beautifully now. Deep golden color. Creamy mouthfeel with stone fruit flavors - waxy texture - finishes with honeyed notes. YUM!
March 19, 2020 - Wine in the time of Corona Virus - Quarantining in NYC & NH; 3/7/2020-9/1/2020 (NYC/NH): Unlike some of the previous notes - I am not finding this at all advanced. Definitely more of a rich, waxy stone fruit style with some honeyed notes on finish, but much more fresh than the '15 vintage has been showing. Really delicious for my palate.
