January 5, 2021 - Started as a really nice qpr .. smooth and easy and went very well with dinner (89). After a couple of hours though went downhill very fast and I didn't care to finish.

November 9, 2020 - Records not handy. I think I bought a 12b case from Costco for 10/b or less3-4 years ago; this is #2-3. No decant, none needed. Purple; fresh blackcurrant nose; black and red fruits, somewhat tannic; good mouthfeel. Seems solid--simple but young. Let's see if it will evolve. Stored horizontally in a cool, dark basement since purchase. Quality, price, age: Notable+.

February 18, 2019 - Bumped up a few points for value, as this seriously over-delivers. Cassis, coffee, herbs, and fig with well-tuned acidity. Seriously impressed. Drink or age for 5-8 years.

December 5, 2018 - Nice ripe wine, I think the cepage here is about 45% cabernet and 55% merlot. Warm berry bouquet. At most medium bodied, with a nice pane of tannin behind the fruit, this has some warm and rich flavors. Decent acidity. Not much wood noted. Very typical and well executed warm vintage Bordeaux, charming and pleasant to drink. Great value.

October 31, 2018 - A smooth Bordeaux with nice fruit for a reasonable price. No cellaring required. Perfect everyday red wine.
