    May 1, 2023 - early in it's drinking window
    beautiful color in the light
still has much earthy backbone with some solid fruit in an integration evolvement

December 29, 2022 - Nothing wrong with this - perfectly refreshing and seemed relatively well-made - but it was one of the most boring Barolos I've ever had... zzz...

December 16, 2018 - nothing wrong with this but maybe a little shut down
nothing seemed to indicate this as made for the long run
so will leave this as an easy drinker without much complexity for now

August 8, 2017 - Very nice, explosive nose with a palate that backs it up; deep, and broad flavors, early approachability. Nose of rose, tar, menthol, talc, soil, and fresh cherries. Pulses with energy and freshness on the medium+ bodied palate, with good power and flavors still in reserve. Good freshness/acidity, nothing cutting here, just a gentle, confident lift. highly recommended

November 20, 2016 - Mineral, iodine, floral, soft. Dark on the palate and quite powerful with polished tannins and good acidity. Rather forward but very good. 91-92+

October 24, 2016 - tasted at Jancis Robinson event in NYC. no formal notes other than this was approachable and excellent compared to many other tannic and shut down wines.
