January 6, 2020 - Garnet color. Mentholated dark cherry aromas. Bing cherry flavors with acid, leather and tannin on the finish. Young.

December 23, 2019 - Not a lot of fruit. Wound tight. Needs some more time In Bottle May be better with a few more years

November 28, 2019 - A delightful, food-friendly Chianti. Medium-to-full bodied, showing plenty of Tuscan terroir. Notes of leather, earth and vanilla provide ample complexity, nicely complementing its tart cherry and plum fruit. Shows good intensity on the mid-palate and moderate length on the dry, slightly tannic finish. Slightly austere, which is typical for the vintage, but much better than the stingy 85 point WS score led me to expect.

November 20, 2019 - Spectacular chianti nose - spice, black tea, plums, cherries and menthol. Initial attack is vivid acidity, cherries, strawberries and maybe black plum. Some black fruit. As the wine blossoms in the mouth the acidity carries lovely tart pie cherry sensation with bright red cherry and black cherry (there’s a lot of cherry in here) flavors along with what, to me, remains the signature for sangiovese which is black tea. Wonderful finish - long, resolving tannins, grippy acidity that just stays and affects the mouth. This is way better than I thought it would be.

October 30, 2019 - Lovely typical tasty chianti. Nice juicy red and black cherry fruit, with crisp cherry acidity. medium tannins. Just a really nice, well balanced wine which goes great with food. Great value as well.
