January 9, 2013 - Disappointing straight out of the bottle but oh my what a little decanting does for it! Zipped the second taste through a Vinturi and it simultaneously opened up and mellowed out. Pinot Noir tends towards thin and acidic, but this wine (whether due to its age or vintage) is pleasantly bodied and only slightly acidic, holding up well to the creamy pasta we paired with it. My wife loves this wine and would have rated it even higher; my only knock on it was that initial taste, which was more towards "unremarkable" rather than "bad." Decant this wine, or run it through an aerator, and you have a very nice beverage to enjoy with dinner or just by itself. Wish we had another bottle to enjoy again.

March 7, 2012 - Nose of cherries, cinnanmon, nutmeg. Smooth and pleasant drink.

June 27, 2011 - Only a month since our last bottle, still good.

June 11, 2011 - Very smooth. A touch of pepper, and dark fruits. A slight tartness in the bouquet, nothing overpowering, just another dimension to the wine. Drink now!

March 19, 2011 - Wine was chilled, popped and poured. 15 minutes or so After breathing in my glass, wine became better. Started to show some more complexities(fruits) after time. Not a bad wine to just drink and hang out. Would not recommend pairing with fish though.
