April 19, 2022 - It’s in a good place right now. Pleasant, medium plus weight, black fruits that are well balanced, easy drinking and good with food. Nothing exceptional, just very solid and enjoyable.

September 9, 2021 - Ninety-minute decant. Wine was fragrant during decant. Similar to my tasting note of 12/14/2017. However, the wine has clearly improved since then. There was a garnet rim and a small clear halo in the glass. In the mouth, some of the rough edges had softened and the wine was just more pleasing to drink. It still had the power to stand up to a seasoned dish however. The smoother mouthfeel warranted the extra couple of points. Great QPR!

    December 15, 2020 - Really drinking quite well. Super ptq @ $20

April 5, 2020 - Juicy raspberry, cranberry, strawberry, big vanilla, oak, cinnamon and pencil shavings. Spicy aroma upon opening up. Slight wet stone on a medium full body and medium acid.
