October 28, 2020 - 93+ It has been a few years since I have had this wine and it certainly has improved. Cherry and dark berry notes. Fruit and tannin balance in a really good place right now.

October 16, 2020 - This continues to show nicely, very enjoyable. Nice deep purple reddish color and fragrance. Dark cherry and dark berry fruits, crème de cassis, and a hint of oak. Full-bodied, nice fruit extraction, bold, and quite solid. I like this wine. This bottle showed better that my last one. 94+ points. Yeah, call it a fruit bomb, but I like this wine.

October 2, 2020 - Dark ruby in color with a short purple rim.

Strong nose of blackberries, sweet cherries, figs, raisins, vanilla, cedar, licorice, cola, mocha, pencil lead, alcohol, peppercorn, leather and tobacco.

Full bodied, big, bold, rich and elegant, with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry and extremely fruity on the palate with blackberries, figs, cooked cherries, black licorice, cedar, vanilla, leather, spices, chocolates, tobacco, mocha, coke, peppercorn, pencil lead and dark coffee.

Long finish with round tannins, tangy cherries and spices.

This is a delicious Cabernet Sauvignon from a great vintage in Napa. Rich, powerful and tasty.

Still young, but already very yummy, and will age nicely in the next 5 to 10 years. Will probably be a 96+ point wine in 5 years.

This 6 year old is good right out of the bottle, but better as it opens up. I let it open up for 90 minutes, but I'm sure another couple of hours would have been a better choice.

Good by itself as a sipping wine. I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.

    14.9% alcohol by volume.

    94 points.

    $70.(current vintage)

September 19, 2020 - Popped and let breathe for about 2 hours. Did not taste initially, but after two hours of slow ox, this was drinking great. Certainly lower tannin on this wine, but I don't see it falling off a cliff anytime soon. However, it may not get any better IMO. No detailed notes taken on the flavor profile.

August 22, 2020 - Interesting cab. The tannins are completely gone and all I tasted was very smooth jam. If tasting blind I would have absolutely thought this was a zin and not a cab. If you are into big fruity cabs then this is for you. For me it lacked other flavors I was looking for and actually think the lack of tannins at this point makes the fruit stand out too much.
